Initial meeting – this is where we meet you and your cat!
We’ll arrange an initial meeting for us to meet in person, and you can introduce us to your pet.
We’ll complete a short form with essential details about your cat, and your home, so that we have all the information we need to care for your animal while you are away.
When will I hand over my keys?
Ideally in the initial meeting so that we can check they work, and to save us returning to collect them at a later date.
We will not return the key until you confirm that you are home, in case you are delayed and need us to look after your cat beyond the arranged dates.
I don’t feel very comfortable letting a stranger into my home!
We completely understand! This is one of the purposes of the initial meeting, so that you can meet us and decide if you trust us enough to look after your cat and home.
If you have an alarm, the code will be kept securely and separately from the key.
We will be respectful of your home at all times.
We can also provide recommendations from clients who may help to put your mind at rest.
Are you insured?
We take our responsibility for your pet and your home seriously, and are fully-insured with Cliverton.
This includes public liability insurance, cover for injury to your pet, accidental damage to your property, and loss of keys.
We are also police-checked.
